TIP: AddĪ dab of e6000 glue (for better long-term hold) and a dab of hot glue Glue the wooden pieces together into a frame shape.Twist two screw eye hooks into the pilot holes. Drill two small pilot holes into the long flat edge of one wood piece.When you paint all the sides at once, the surface doesn't stick like it would with newspaper. ![]() TIP: I like to use parchment paper for things like this. Feel free to use a dry brush and let some wood grain poke through. Slide it under the ribbon twist on the front center of the ornament. Tie both ribbon ends together with a knot, forming a loop to hang the ornament. Slide it under the ribbon along the ornament top edge. Secure the tail ends on the back of the ornament with hot glue. Twist two ribbon pieces around once, then pull the tail ends to the back of the ornament over the top and bottom edges. Pull both ribbon tails into the center of the ornament front.
